Rack Type Battery
Maxvolt's Rack Type Battery is a modular, server-rack-style lithium enclosure built for installations where floor space is limited and capacity needs to scale in defined steps. Each cabinet houses multiple High Power Smart Hybrid Lithium Battery modules — individually protected by their own MCB, with dedicated +VE/-VE terminals — that combine into a single high-capacity bank. As a custom-engineered configuration, every rack deployment is sized and wired to the customer's exact voltage, capacity and busbar requirements as part of Maxvolt's Custom Battery Solutions program.

Overview
Rack type batteries solve a problem single large-format batteries can't: predictable, incremental scaling. Instead of sizing one oversized pack for future load, a rack lets you install exactly what you need today — 200Ah, 300Ah, or more per module — and add another module later as demand grows, without redesigning the system.
Each module in the rack is an independently protected High Power Smart Hybrid Lithium Battery with its own MCB, ON/OFF switch, status indicators and +VE/-VE terminals, wired into a shared busbar at the top of the cabinet. This means a fault in one module doesn't take down the bank, and individual modules can be serviced or swapped without disturbing the rest of the rack.
Because rack configurations vary by site — available floor space, busbar layout, voltage class, and required backup duration all differ — Maxvolt engineers each rack deployment as a custom build under our Custom Battery Solutions program, drawing on the same modular cells and BMS platform used across our Solar Battery & Energy Storage System range.
